How does $1 provide 4 meals?

We use efficiency, food donations, and volunteer power to stretch every dollar to provide healthy meals. First, we rescue food from manufacturers, retailers, and growers. Volunteers donate their time to sort the rescued food. Volunteers also repackage food we buy in bulk. Buying food in large quantities makes sure we have enough food for the communities we serve and saves on the cost of items and the cost of freight.
